Data Deletion Request — YourRoofCheck

Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request that YourRoofCheck delete the personal data we have collected about you. We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

To request deletion of your data, use one of the following methods:

Option 1: Email

Send an email to privacy@yourroofcheck.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Please include:

Your full name
The email address you used to submit your request
The property address associated with your request (if applicable)
Any additional identifying information that will help us locate your data

Option 2: Phone

Call us at (617) 480-6939 and request to speak with someone about deleting your data. Please have the information listed above ready.

Option 3: SMS Opt-Out

To stop receiving SMS messages immediately, reply STOP to any text message from YourRoofCheck. This will opt you out of future text communications. To also request full data deletion, follow up with an email to the address above.

What Happens Next

We will confirm receipt of your deletion request within 48 hours.
We will process your request within 30 calendar days.
We will notify you once your data has been deleted.
If we are unable to process your request (for example, if we need to retain certain data for legal reasons), we will explain why.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon processing your request, we will delete:

Your name, email, phone number, and address from our active systems
Your roof report request and associated details
Any communications history

Note: We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you for analytics purposes. Certain records may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).
